What is the Fulton Public Schools Foundation?
We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. This allows us to accept nonpublic funding to assist with specific school district programs and projects. We are a relatively new organization, established to secure resources to enhance educational opportunities for Fulton students. While our sole purpose is to support the Fulton Public Schools, we are a separate organization with our own governing board.
What is our mission?
The Fulton Public Schools Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to enhance, enrich, and maintain educational opportunities for our students by securing resources from individuals, corporations, and foundations.
What are our goals?
We currently seek to establish a self-sustaining endowment sufficient to generate investment income. That income will then be used to support projects designed to enrich the quality of education for Fulton students. We work with Fulton School District teachers and administrators to identify the areas of greatest need. Future projects will include, but not be limited to: Grants to educators for innovative classroom or schoolwide projects. Classroom equipment grants.
How can you help?
The Foundation Board extends an invitation to all Fulton Public Schools alumni and friends to help our efforts to support quality education for our students.
